ROAR Talk #10 Sarah Villeneau

Sarah2

Sarah’s work reflects an interest in the body and biological structures, conjuring up a world of tracery and complexity, sensuous and fragile, visceral and inviting but also ambiguously unsettling. The last word is with the material, pushed to its limits, leaving the trace of movement like an imprint in the sand.

Working in ceramic and currently studying for an MA in Studio Ceramics at Loughborough University, Sarah has shown at The Discerning Eye Gallery, Craft Potters Association, Oxo Tower and Harlequin Galleries in London, and has had solo shows in Sheffield and Doncaster as well as group exhibitions across the UK and in France. Her studio is in an old market building in Doncaster.
