As part of The Big Draw we organised several events in the Minster Gardens and Imperial Buildings to involve as many passers by as possible both in actively drawing but also to provoke an enquiring response ‘what on earth are you doing?’.
The most successful were the in the Minster Gardens so we are looking to hold a lot more events there over the warmer months of 2013.
Once people are used to these projects happening they will become more curious and maybe join in more. This year the curious looks of passers by was enough to make it worth while, you could tell their usual day and routine had been interrupted by intrigue.
We must thank Nick Summerbell for his enthusiastic volunteering during these projects and his inexhaustible powers of persuasion of the public to ‘give it a go’.
