We’re super excited to be launching our new Member Project “Cosmic Creations: Bridging Worlds”
Project Overview:
We are asking artist members to embark on an extraordinary journey of creative exploration aimed at establishing a connection with extra-terrestrial life forms. This project, "Cosmic Conversations: Bridging Worlds," seeks to push the boundaries of human imagination and artistic expression while fostering a sense of unity and curiosity about the cosmos.
Project Description:
Imagine a universe teeming with diverse life forms beyond our Earth. While this remains speculative, the possibility of communicating with extra-terrestrial beings has long captivated our collective imagination. "Cosmic Conversations" aims to explore this profound concept through artistic expression and to inspire awe and wonder about the mysteries of the cosmos.
Objectives:
1. Inspiration and Imagination: Encourage artists to draw inspiration from the vastness of space and the potential for life beyond Earth, sparking their imagination to create thought-provoking and visionary artworks.
2. Interdisciplinary Exploration: Promote collaboration between artists, scientists, and researchers to blend scientific knowledge with artistic creativity in the pursuit of a unique connection with alien life forms.
3. Public Engagement: Engage the public in the project's journey, fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity about the cosmos while igniting discussions on the potential for extra-terrestrial life.
4. Documentation: Capture the artistic process and the development of the project through various media, such as videos, photographs, and written narratives, to create a comprehensive record of the journey.

Budget:
There is no budget.
Main space at ROAR is available to book free of charge as part of this project (when available)
Timeline:
The project is expected to commence on 1/11/23 and conclude by 29/2/24 with flexibility for adjustments as needed.
Final Exhibition venue TBC.

Any ROAR Member can participate.
