Noor Salih, a 29-year-old Yemeni-British woman who embodies excellence, creativity, and inclusivity. Her passion for grassroots initiatives and her dynamic personality make her an instantly recognizable figure in her hometown of Rotherham. Noor's vibrant wardrobe and her powerful voice on women's rights and inclusion have won the hearts of many in her community.
Whether she's at a gig, striking up conversations with those around her, or participating in community groups, Noor is always working to bring people together. Her love for Rotherham and its people is what motivates and inspires her as she learns from their stories, struggles, and successes.
Noor was committed to giving back to her community, but she felt like something was missing. Fate intervened when she came across a job posting for the WOW (Women of the World) Festival producer in Rotherham. This was her opportunity to merge her passions for activism, events, and community work. Without hesitation, she applied and was thrilled to land the job. Noor quickly realized that producing the WOW Festival was her true calling.
The WOW Festival celebrates the achievements, strengths, and resilience of women, girls, and non-binary individuals from around the world. The WOW Foundation partners with organisations worldwide to create local WOW festivals. This festival travels the globe, showcasing inspiring speakers, musicians, comedians, and activists who come together to create unforgettable experiences. Through thought-provoking discussions, amazing performances, and interactive workshops, the festivals amplify women's voices and provide attendees with a platform to connect, find support, and celebrate female empowerment.
