Tair Rafiq
Since the age of 8, artist and writer Tair Rafiq has been creating stories and expressing themselves through their unique voice. After working as an outsider artist for decades in isolation, they have recently been brave enough to share their work with the world.
People have reacted positively to their 'outlandish' stories that explore the themes of being an outsider, often with a fantastical and bizarre twist.
In 2018, Tair Rafiq self-published the epic fantasy novel 'Daisy and the Dwarf Dragon' which is available on Amazon. They have also received Arts Council funding to produce their play, 'The Secret History of Cake'. Currently, they are working on two plays and a novel about space pirates. One of the plays is about a witch and her giant rabbit, and the other is about a haunted day spa.
