Our Governance
ROAR is a place for collaboration and experimentation in the arts. This necessitates that everyone here, including employees, project participants, and visitors, take the initiative to create a welcome and inclusive environment in which everyone's safety is valued.
Physical and emotional boundaries must be respected. Everyone who enters ROAR is expected to be mindful of their words and behaviour and to evaluate whether it may be detrimental to others. You can't know what people's boundaries are unless you ask them. This is not a place for aggression or touching people without their permission. Change your behaviour if someone complains that you are making them uncomfortable. Abuse, harassment, and sexual assault will not be tolerated, whether verbal or physical.
